My goal in designing the UX/UI for GUMP's new Photographer Review & Gratuity system was to create a seamless and intuitive user experience that would encourage photographers to engage with the platform and leave reviews for their peers. I aimed to design a system that would not only streamline the review process but also incentivize photographers to participate through the gratuity feature. Through my design, I aimed to enhance the overall user engagement and satisfaction with the GUMP platform.
Understanding
As soon as we receive the new feature requirement, our team have to talk with the Product Owner to determine the primary purpose of the product and how it can meet the needs of the user.
User Scenario
After having several quick discussions and interviews with the Product Owner to identify what our users look like, starting like this lets us to empathize with them while remaining focused on their needs.
Solution
Through my work on the UX/UI design for GUMP's Photographer Review & Gratuity system, I was able to encourage more photographers to participate and leave valuable feedback for their peers. Additionally, by designing the gratuity feature, I incentivize users to engage with the platform and contribute to the community. Overall, my contribution to the GUMP platform has helped to enhance the user experience and create a more collaborative and supportive community for photographers.
